Ultimate was the flagship pair of its generation — designed for experienced stylists wanting the highest specification Hatchet offered at the time, with a refined feel and precise cutting performance.

At 5.5", this is the versatile thinning option of the range — suited to removing weight, blending and softening the finished shape while maintaining precise control in the hand.

Built from VG10 steel with Hatchet’s earlier raised adjustable tension dial, Ultimate was eventually succeeded by Utopian.
